Newtown Borough has two Voting Wards
- Ward 1 votes at the Newtown Fire Company at Washington Avenue and Liberty Street
- Ward 2 votes at the Newtown Joint Municipal Authority 15 S. Congress Street.
Newtown Borough and Township are in State District 31 and Congressional District 1.
