Q: How many Borough Council candidates can I
vote for?
A: This year, in Ward 1 you can vote for two candidates for two
positions. In Ward 2 you vote for one candidate for one position. Both Ward
1 and Ward 2 will vote for one Mayor.
Q: How do I know if I'm in Ward 1 or Ward 2?

Q: I'm a registered Republican
(or Independent). Can I
vote for a Democratic candidate?
A: In the November
general election you can vote for any candidate regardless of party. Many
Republicans and Independents support the ideas and commitment offered by
the Democratic candidates in this election and plan to vote for them on
November 3rd.
Q: How much are Borough
Council members and the mayor paid?
A: Borough Council members and the Mayor are voluntary, unpaid positions.
Q: How can I attend or
view Borough Council meetings?
A: Borough Council meets twice each month, on the Wednesday before the
2nd Tuesday at 5:00 at Council Chambers on S. State Street, and on the
2nd Tuesday at 7:00 at the Chancellor Center. The Tuesday
meetings can be viewed on local cable; for a complete schedule, see
